For a little over a year now I have been using Substack as a creative exercise between gigs. I had kept it to myself, thinking that to write publicly about my thoughts and experiences would appear self-absorbed, whereas privately I could maintain that I was introspective. If there is one thing you cannot control about humans it is bias, so I suppose whether it is one way or the other depends more on your opinion of me!
