Three projects coming up in collaboration with the BBC Concert Orchestra and Nouvel Opera Fribourg. These are performances and recordings throughout the season taking place in Switzerland and at the Alexandra Palace in London.
La plus forte, Gerald Barry’s one woman opera based on the play by August Strindberg.
Céline, a world premiere opera commission composed by Richard Harvey, centering on the French Dadaist poet, Céline Arnaud.
Oracle, a world premiere opera commission composed by David Buckley, a modern retelling of Pythia of Delphi, from Greek mythology.
Performances of La plus forte and Céline will take place on September 29, 2024 and on June 21 and 22, 2025 for Oracle.
